Dana Hamann Plesz
Dana is the personal assistant to John B. Nye and oversees the development and management of client relationships. She serves as a liaison for clients and professionals and is responsible for visual presentations for individual clients. Dana has been with Nye Financial Group since 1999 and has worked with John Nye through associate firms for 25 years. She is a licensed agent with 20 years of experience in the financial service industry and a Certified Notary Public since 1994.
Carol Kramer
Carol Kramer has been with Nye Financial Group since 1992 and is the Customer Service Administrator for our clients. Her responsibilities range from servicing day to day policy needs such as beneficiary and ownership changes, to compiling information for review appointments. She also assists the Case Management/New Business Department and completes pending status calls and also obtains additional information from clients as needed. In her spare time, Carol, loves to cook, sing and is the Assistant Coach of the speech team at her daughter's high school.
Melissa "Missy" Walker
Missy is the personal assistant to Eric A. Nye and the new business case manager at Nye Financial Group. Missy oversees the development and management of client and professional relations and has an array of responsibilities at NFG including the production of visual presentations for individual clients, along with the development of NFG seminar presentation materials. She is the licensing liaison for NFG and its representatives with outside insurance companies and state regulators, along with managing incoming and outgoing commissions.Additional responsibilities include database management and the coordination of various office operations. She has been with Nye Financial Group since 1992 and holds an Associates degree in Legal Administrative Assisting. Missy and her husband, Jason, reside in Diamond, Ohio with their three children, Morgan, Mykenzie and Mason.
Sarah Schofield
Sarah is the personal assistant to J. Randall Nye. Sarah assists Randy in managing affiliated entities such as Nye Co., L.P.A., and Meridian United Trust Company. Sarah is the client relationship manager for Randy's "Private Client" planning activities, and project manager for our risk management consulting efforts (including property and casualty insurance placement when needed). Prior to coming to NFG, she worked for Raymond James Financial Services for four years. She graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelors degree in Finance. Sarah holds the property & casualty insurance license. Sarah and her husband David reside in Ravenna, Ohio with their twin daughters Lillian & Abigail.
Dan Griffin
Dan Griffin joined Nye Financial Group, in February 2009, as Director of Life Settlement Marketing. In this new role, based at our Hudson, OH headquarters office, Dan reports directly to Rick Nye and is charged with developing and leading our life settlement business operation with the objective of maximizing value for Nye clients who are considering or pursuing a life settlement transaction.
Prior to joining Nye Financial Group, Dan was Senior Sales & Marketing Manager for one of the country's most respected life settlement providers, where he managed the sales and case management functions and, through working with a nationwide network of life settlement brokers and agents, gained in- depth experience and knowledge of the emerging life settlements marketplace and established a broad network of valuable relationships.
Prior to joining Life Equity, Dan was vice president/part owner of a start-up business where he lead the marketing and business development functions and has over 20 years experience in sales, marketing and advertising leadership roles for privately-owned and publicly-traded, national, regional and local chain-store operations, in a variety of industries.
Dan and his wife, Linda, reside in Hudson, OH with their two children, Danny and Delaney, ages 20 and 14 respectively. Dan's oldest daughter, Erica, her husband and their two children also live nearby. Dan enjoys playing soccer & softball, rooting for all of Cleveland's professional sports teams and spending time with his family.
